Opgericht in Sydney, Australië, in 1997 met slechts twee producten in het assortiment. Turbosmart, met zijn unieke kwaliteit en bewezen betrouwbaarheid, is wereldwijd synoniem geworden met 'Automotive Performance'. Deze twee gaan hand in hand en dankzij hun uitmuntende klantenservice, een onverslaanbare combinatie inmiddels.
Tegenwoordig zijn de Turbosmart producten beschikbaar in meer dan 50 verschillende landen op de wereld en kunnen gevonden worden in 'class-winning' auto's in zowel Amerika, Canada, Australia, Nieuw-Zeeland, UK en Puerto Rico. De resultaten die deze teams hebben bereikt samen met Turbosmart zijn een ode aan Turbosmart's ontwikkeling, design en tests. Alle feedback van klanten wordt meegenomen in de ontwikkeling van bestaande en nieuwe producten.
TurboSmart heeft veel lof gekregen en prijzen gewonnen van de international pers. De TurboSmart E-boost eletronische turbodrukregelaar heeft op de 2003 Sema Show de prijs gewonnen voor 'Best Performance Product Runner-up'.
