Takata gebruikt crash simulaties om de producten te testen, deze tests gaan ver boven de krachten die zouden kunnen ontstaan bij een ongeluk op straat of op het circuit.
Takata's assortiment begint bij een eenvoudige 3 punts gordel tot en met volledige FIA gekeurde ASN gordels die tevens geschikt zijn voor het gebruik met een HANS systeem.
