The most powerful version of the latest generation Scirocco from Volkswagen, the Scirocco R, benefits superbly from the Akrapovič treatment. The Akrapovič Slip-On exhaust system is made from high-grade stainless steel and manages to deliver weight reduction, power improvement, and a better sound, which really suits this attention-grabbing sports coupe. The system with its twin-muffler configuration delivers a power increase, most noticeably in the mid rev range but power and torque increases are achieved all the way to this four-stroke engine’s top rpm. The sound is also dramatically enhanced, with that deep sporty sound only Akrapovič can deliver. Complete the look with a set of two exquisite 115 mm tailpipes in titanium or carbon fibre.
