Racingline Intake System Golf 7 R600 (FILTER ONLY)
<p>This is an VWR R600 Replacement Intake Air Filter fitting only the Racingline R600 intake. TRIFOAM® FILTER UNIT Faster, for longer The highest airflow of all filter types, for the best possible power for more of the time. As a high performance part, regular maintenance is essential to keep it at its very best. </p><p>This High-Flow TriFoam™ air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. The extra surface area provides even more airflow with lower restriction, to ensure that the largest volumes of the coolest possible air is available to the engine at all times. With the filter rated to 600bhp, this gives great ‘headroom’ for any future upgrades you may have planned, and ensures that the intake system is operating comfortably within its capacity at all times. &nbsp; This maximises efficiency and improves drivability and torque throughout the rev range - turbocharger spool dropped nearly 500 RPMs, reducing turbo lag and creating faster turbo response.</p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;"><span style="background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-weight: bold;">WHY IS THE FILTER INSIDE MY R600 SO CRITICAL?&nbsp;</span></p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;">&nbsp;</p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; line-height: 1.7em;">Your engine needs huge amounts of lovely clean, fresh air to deliver the sort of power outputs that the 2.0 TSI is so capable of. But it’s absolutely critical to keep dirt out of its precise and vital inner workings.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;">&nbsp;</p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; line-height: 1.7em;">Imagine running without a filter over thousands of miles. Performance would be great, but small dirt particles will cause engine wear which leads to loss in performance, efficiency and eventually, engine failure.&nbsp; Think of it like sand paper dragging across every little part in your engine eventually wearing down things like piston rings, valve seats and bearings, killing power and efficiency.&nbsp; No one wants that!</span></p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;">&nbsp;</p><p class="font_8" style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: 1.7em;"><span style="background-image: initial; background-position: 0px 0px; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: 1.7em;">So at the risk of stating the obvious, a filter needs to filter dirt out of the air, yet still allow plenty of air to flow into the engine. That’s why the filter is so, so critical. It’s the very heart of your R600.</span></p>
